With thousands of athletes competing, volunteers are needed to assist with many elements on race weekend including set-up, registration, water stations, and finish line. 
Fundraise for your non-profit group
We will make a generous donation to your organization for volunteering at any CGI Racing race. The donation is based upon the number of volunteers you provide. We require a minimum of (10) volunteers for any group volunteer donation. You can raise upwards of $1,000 for your group!
Race for FREE
You can race for FREE if you volunteer to help the CGI team either set up, pre-race or strike one of our events. There are limited free entries so sign up soon. Just click here~ RaceforFree.

Pre-Race Expo and Registration
Thursday, April 15 (Set Up), Friday, April 16 & Saturday, April 17
- Issue registered runners their race numbers
- Distribute race participant T-shirts

 Start Line
There is so much to do at the start of the race and there is soooo much excitement. Here's where we need you...
Corrals
Volunteers are needed here to help direct runners into the correct corral and keep order within each corral.
Gear Check
Runners are given "gear bags" when they check in. Each bag is then placed numerically in a truck. Volunteers are needed to 1) place bags into trucks and 2) assist runners with the dropoff and pickup of their bag.
Bus Unloading
Some runners will be arriving to the race start via shuttle buses. We need volunteers to assist in the loading and unloading of these runners.
Refreshments
Volunteers are needed to mann the Start Line refreshment stations and distribute water to the runners.
Medical Tent
Volunteers are needed to assist the medical staff in the First Aid tent with minor injuries and issues.
On- Course
Cheer Zone - wouldn't your sorority or club group love to head up one of the "cheer zones" along the course. It's fun, it's easy and you can raise money for your organization by doing it.
Bands/Entertainment - We are always looking for great entertainment along the course. If you would like exposure to thousands of people while entertaining our runners to the finish then please contact us ~ we would love to have you!
Parking - Attendants are needed to assist our team in parking and directional.
Course directionals - Although we pride ourselves on providing an outstanding, well-marked course we make sure no one ever goes off course by having numerous people along the course pointing the way.
Finish Line
Finish Line Assistance
Volunteers are needed at the Finish Line to hand out finish medals, water and cool rags to our runners.
Crowd Control
Volunteers are needed at Finish and throughout the course to direct and control the crowd of spectators. Medical Tent
Volunteers are needed to assist the medical staff in the First Aid tent with minor injuries and issues.
Water Stations
 Groups of 10 or more individuals are invited to hand out water, sports drink and energy gel along the course. But you're not just handing out water you're bringing it...you're spirit, your creativity, your sense of competition! For more details on our water station competitions click here.
